"LAN & WAN Management at Head Office
A. Fault Management / Link Management:
i. Identification, investigation and troubleshooting of Network related problems in WAN/LAN
ii. Coordinate with Telco service providers to resolve any downtime of the links
iii. Documentation and analysis of frequently occurring problems on a monthly basis
iv. Coordinate with vendors for the passive components like cables etc. for its proper layout and maintenance
v. Problems out of scope to be escalated and followed up for closure with OEM/Vendors
vi. Creating and Maintaining Knowledge base for the faults reported and solved
B. Performance Monitoring:
i. Monitor and maintain the optimum performance of all Network Equipments by ensuring that the correct configuration is loaded at all times
ii. Periodic health check of Network in terms of application response on the network
iii. Enable Quality of Service and ensure that the desired application performance is obtained and documented
iv. Testing the backup link ISDN or Leased line as the case may be, on a weekly basis to ensure that the back up link is working. Report any issues observed and follow escalation matrix
C. Reports & Documentation
i. Creating various Reports as per requirements
ii. Updated documentation related to customer Network Setup
· iii. Support to be extended during Month/Quarter/Year end and for any S1 issue resolution"
